If fishing for you is to cast lures for big kingfish and experience the surface strikes and seriously tough fight from a big kingfish, then this is the fishing trip for you. This trip is squarely aimed at lurecasting and jigging for the mighty kingfish. At the same time if you want to troll up a marlin and tuna, or drop plastics for some big snapper, this is all on the menu. These positions are sold on a full charter basis with a maximum of 16 anglers on each charter.

From our base at Northland’s Whangaroa Harbour we operate in Northland with focus on an area from the Cavalli Islands to the Karikari Peninsular and areas further north. Available fishing falls into two main catergories - sport fishing and  saltwater fly fishing. The trip is away for 6 days, departing on Sunday afternoon at 3pm and returns at 11:30 on Friday. 

We focus on an area from the Cavalli Islands to the Karikari Peninsular with kingfish being the target species. Fishing is done from 3 boats with your option to have a game boat join the trip to venture further afield. 

Quality Shimano rods, reels, terminal tackle, bait and berley are provided. Three 7.2 metre tenders each have a fishing guide who is very familiar with the region where we fish.

Accommodation onboard is in spacious en-suite cabins and suites. All onboard meals are provided with alcohol being the only additional cost involved.
