Itinerary

Day 1 - Papeete

On sailing day, passengers are met at Papeete Airport by our crew and from 4:30 pm board the ship that is waiting on the Papeete waterfront. You are greeted with a refreshing drink and canapes before the Captain’s welcome, crew introductions and safety briefing. When all guests from the evening arrival flights are onboard we depart around midnight for a short crossing to Moorea.

Day 1 - Papeete

Day 2 - Moorea

Wake inside beautiful Cooks Bay with the dramatic mountainous backdrop that Moorea is famous for... paradise. After breakfast the crew host a snorkel safari where you may spot a ray or black tipped reef shark. This afternoon we tender ashore for a guided scenic tour into the hills and rainforest of Moorea. Drinks and canape´s are served on deck followed by dinner. After dinner we set sail for the Vanilla Island of Taha'a.

Day 2 - Moorea

Day 3 - Taha'a

This morning we cruise into Taha’a with dramatic sea views. Once the anchor is down we tender ashore for a visit to a local organic vanilla plantation. Lunch is served on board while cruising the northern shores through the many motus surrounding the main island. This afternoon join the crew on a coral garden snorkelling expedition where the current drifts you past coral formations and the abundant sea life. This is South Seas paradise with islands in the foreground and the sun setting over the distant towering peaks of beautiful Bora Bora. During dinner we cross to Bora Bora and anchor inside the lagoon.

Day 3 - Taha'a

Day 4 - Bora Bora

Wake this morning to the stunning views inside Bora Bora lagoon. A shark and ray excursion has been organised this morning, alternatively you can tender ashore to explore alone or simply relax on board. Lunch and water sports activities off To'opua Island are planned this afternoon. Later, the captain leads an excursion to world-famous Bloody Mary’s Bar for a pre-dinner aperitif. Dinner is served inside Bora Bora lagoon with Mount Otemanu set as a backdrop.

Day 4 - Bora Bora

Days 5-6 - At Sea

At sunrise we leave the towering peaks of Bora Bora in the distance as we set sail for Aitutaki. The crew engage you in navigation practice and watch-keeping activities along with regular daily activities for this lazy 48 hour passage.

Days 5-6 - At Sea

Day 7 - Aitutaki Island

We begin searching the horizon with the sunrise for this low lying coral atoll. The lagoon is stunning and we land in the centre of town. A tour to visit to one-foot island is on the agenda this morning. After lunch back onboard we have an afternoon of beachcombing, swimming, snorkelling and kayaking. We sail during dinner with a southerly course to Rarotonga, just 140 nautical miles over the horizon.

Day 7 - Aitutaki Island

Day 8 - Rarotonga

The peaks of Rarotonga are visible from 40 miles away. Come up to the bridge for the sunrise as we plan for the arrival into Rarotonga Harbour. Once alongside and customs cleared we disembark guests in the centre of downtown Rarotonga by 11am. We look forward to seeing you onboard again on another of our voyages.

Day 8 - Rarotonga

Feedback

We had wonderful holiday supported by a great enthusiastic crew. The snorkelling, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding in such a beautiful pristine part of the world was superb. An honourable mention must be made for the Chef extraordinaire, he was passionate about every one of his creations and he far exceeded all previous chefs you have had on-board. The crew ensured that we had the best anchorage each evening and allowed us to safely discover the unspoilt islands of French Polynesia. Thanks again
Noel and Judith, NSW
